Bicknoller Village Shop
The shop, which opened in April 1995, is situated next to the Village Hall and has plenty of parking space. It is staffed entirely by volunteers from the Parish.
As well as basic items, the shop stocks a range of locally-sourced produce, including cold meats, cheeses, jams, eggs and cakes. There is a wide selection of greetings cards and it features local crafts and cards made by Bicknoller artists. There are deliveries of fresh bread, vegetables and fruit each week and a tasty range of lunchtime snacks.
The shop offers many services: a parcel-weighing service with stamps for sale, mugs of tea, coffee or hot soup, cold drinks and ice creams and a new dry cleaning and laundry service. There is a pleasant outdoor seating area from which to admire the views of the Quantocks and a free WiFi internet facility is available for the use of our customers. Weekly, but not daily, newspapers are available for sale. The shop is however able to offer a daily newspaper ordering service and if you are interested, you should speak to those in the shop who can provide you with further information.
