All the events below will take place at Bicknoller Village Hall unless otherwise stated:

Wednesday 15 September 2010 – “The Brendon Hills Mineral Line”
an illustrated talk by Philip Gannon. 7.30 p.m. A Social Club event.

Saturday 18 September 2010 – Jumble Sale 10 a.m. to 12 noon
Cakes, trash & treasure. Hardware, clothing, children’s toys, books and bottle stall.
Any contributions to the stalls are most welcome. Please deliver to the Village Hall on Friday 17 Sept from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturday morning at 9 a.m.

Friday 24 September 2010 – National Coffee Morning – 10.30 a.m.
in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. With a display of patchwork and quilting including 5 full size quilts and many smaller items.
Sales stalls and raffle. Entrance free, donations welcome.
Do come and join us for a cuppa.

Parish Council meetings are held on the third Thursday in each month, except where stated otherwise. They start at 7 pm and take place in the Village Hall Committee Room. The provisional Planning meetings only take place should there be urgent planning applications to discuss before the next Full Parish Council Meeting.

Councillors & Meetings

The Parish Council comprises a Chairman, Vice Chairman and five other members who are elected every four years. The names, addresses and telephone numbers of Council members are shown on the attached List of Councillors as well as details of our County Councillor and District Councillor.

Before the Parish Council meeting starts, 15 minutes is set aside for the Parish Forum. During this time, parishioners can ask questions or make statements on any matter concerning the parish. However, issues already discussed and agreed upon at previous parish council meetings cannot be debated again.

Parishioners are welcome to be present during the actual Parish Council meeting but are not allowed to take part at any time, unless questions are put to them by the Chairman.
